A Day in the Life of Shiloh...

Cool Dude

The other day we went to the beach with Seth and Bethany, and Seth and Izaak decided Shiloh needed some flowered shorts. He thinks he's cool now... :)

He's also been doing this new face constantly. It's so funny!

Aunts & Uncles...

Shiloh now has both sets of Aunts and Uncles from my side here in VA Beach. My little brother, Seth and his wife Bethany moved here on Friday, just for fun. Seth just finished his second associate's degree, and they were ready to move away from the crazy Atlanta traffic. So here they are. We all spent the day at the beach on Sunday (of course), and today they came to the pool with us - so fun!

11 Months!

Shiloh is 11 Months old today! I can't believe he's almost a year old already... it's true, they really do grow up so fast!

Bush Gardens

On Monday we spent the afternoon at Bush Gardens Europe with some friends from church, Mark and Stephanie Stonis, and their little girl Victoria. It was Shiloh's first trip to an amusement park, other than our two trips to Silver Dollar City in Branson when I was pregnant. He loved it! They had a section for kids with a little water park and a couple rides. He rode his first ride with Daddy while I watched with the camera in one hand and the video camera in the other... :)

Shiloh had another big milestone this week: he started walking on Sunday! He's still really wobbly, but gets really excited when he does it. I'll try to post the video soon.

Bath Time!

Tonight Shiloh was getting pretty cozy with our bathtub. I'm not sure if he was more interested in the little round metal thing or his reflection in it...

Back again

Wow! Life has been a little crazy around here for the past few weeks. We had company for 3 weeks solid in May, and I feel like I'm just now getting around to doing things I normally do. My parents were down for a week, then Izaak's brother and his wife and son, sister and her fiance, and other sister and her boyfriend were here for about a week, and Sarah and her fiance Eric stayed for another week. We had a blast, and it was so good to see everyone. Shiloh had a great time playing with his cousin Nolan, and we all had fun watching. Nolan made me so excited for the day Shiloh starts talking; kids say such funny things! Anyway, now we're back to normal, and have been spending lots of time at the beach and the pool. Shiloh loves it all! He took 3 steps this morning, and is so close to really taking off. I know it won't be long! Here are some pics of our latest excursion.
