A Day at the Park

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the park with Caleb, Carmen, and Cole. Izaak and Caleb were at the library studying, but they came with us for our picnic, and had big plans of reading while Carmen and I entertained the kiddos. Didn't happen. Instead we ate, played on the swings, played catch, played basketball, and watched Shiloh learn to stand. He's so big! He's getting better at balancing everyday, and loves to run around the house with his walker. And he's also getting really good at giving Mommy hugs... I love it! :)

Crazy Hair!

Shiloh woke up from his nap on Thursday with a very funny 'do...

Yawn...

Shiloh almost fell asleep in his highchair today at lunch. Then Daddy started making funny faces and woke him up again.

Getting Closer...

Shiloh's getting closer and closer to walking. He's starting to use his walker to actually walk, but it usually ends up upside down on top of him. This morning he was cruising around the living room and having a blast. His daddy wants him to start walking soon so he can run around with his cousin Nolan when he comes to visit next month. Look out, Nollie!

Norfolk Tides

On Saturday night, our small group went to a Norfolk Tides ball game. It was Shiloh's first sporting event (besides watching Daddy play basketball with the guys back in Branson) and he loved watching. I think his favorite parts were the big stadium lights and all the attention! :)

There were some little girls behind us who were convinced he wanted to steal their food, and honestly, I wouldn't put it past him... he's a little pig! :)

Joining the world of Bloggers...

I knew it would get me eventually... I've been avoiding the inevitable for a while now, but finally decided to just give in and do it. My main reason for starting our blog is to share pics of our beautiful son with family that lives all over the country, but I'm hoping it will also be a fun way to reconnect with people I've lost contact with over the years.
We'll see how I do with keeping up...
